I like the placement of the subject in the frame, the range of dark tones. The focus seems slightly off. But I think this is a very dramatic presentation.

Your work is so consistently good it's awe-inspiring. So forgive me if I ask whether the shift of optimum focus back behind the eyes was deliberate. If so, was it to soften the stubble on his cheeks or to make the "halo" of hair stand out extra sharp? Personally I would have made it on the eyes, but what do I know?
