About This is one of my more successful night shots i took during my stay in the Philippines. This exposure took about an 1 hour or more to take, and apparently the long exposure was able to render the black sky (9pm) to a nice shade of blue. Many people do not believe that this was shot at night, but if u look close and long enough, you'll see that it's clearly taken during the night. Would like your comments on this shot, or if you have your own night shots, i would love to see it.

I like the unusual composition and colors.

Well actually jimmy, it was quite the opposite...there was almost a full moon that night when i took those two shots. I'm still pretty puzzled how the sky rendered such a bright blue, could be that i was on very elevated groud (my house is rather high up a mountain). If you can find reasons why the sky is so blue would be great...

Hello Patryk,
I commented on your other night shot, "Streaks" and questioned how the night sky was blue. I see in this one where you gave an explanation for this. Were your two shots taken on moonless nights?
