Ah, another Samoyed lover :)

Great dogs, magnificent personalities.
There's scores of pictures of me at that age, also always with a samoyed in attendance.

As a photo I think it's a bit cluttered, especially the background.
Try using a shallower depth of field to blur that so it's not such a distraction.
