I took out the radio tower that was on the far left behind all the trees because I thought to crop it out would ruin the balance. It's pretty standard creative fare but it was too beautiful not to take. The southern belle on the bench near the water is part of Cypress Garden's staging but the wedding taking place in the 'gazebo' is real. Bet their wedding pics were to die for!
Dawn good concept and well seen....tilted to the left but fixable in your editor...also it seems underexposed although the gazebo is white and the brides gown is also...try just a speck lighter in your editor you can probably push it a bit.....really nice
Thanks for all your positive comments Chris (may I?). I'm a newbie alright; just a fly by the seat of my pants kind of photog. These are the lucky shots I've taken. You should see all the disasters inbetween! Just wait till I try some of the projects! The reflection that's there is all I got. If I remember correctly there was a wall in the way. I didn't crop this at all. I just looked at all the actual pics of what I posted and they're all tilted. Yikes...it seems I have a permanent list!
Ah Dawn...you feigned newbie on me on your first post...:)....this is a goregous shot....its tilted some but you can rotate it to the right in your photo editor...by any chance is there a full reflection in the water on your negative or in the uncropped version?....This is a wonderful shot with beautiful color and an incredible reflection. The grass and flowers look like they are flowing into the water. Great job.
