This is not a technically great photo. But the subject is what I wanted to convey. The is an elephant seal pup that was abandoned by it's mother (natures way) and has come ashore where it struggles to survive. Without the intervention of man, it would have not survived. The proper people were called and it was saved. Have a Happy New Year.
Hi there, glad this little guy was saved...now and then there is a beached whale on our coast line up here and sometimes it survives,but not usually...i agree that it is a good journalistic shot! Happy new year to you,too,by the way! -Gayle
