About This oak grows in our back yard. I used PSP just a bit to deepen the color--it seemed too washed out.
I would appreciate comments about this as I have just bought this camera and am not sure I'm doing it right. should I post the unaltered one? TIA

thank you Ivan. I did use a tripod (trying to form good habits now) but I used an auto setting and the wind was causing too much movement--obviously I need to change the shutter speed to freeze the movement! And, I totally agree about the DOF. I will do better, thanks again.

Try to find a spot where you can minimize movement of your camera (use tripod) and play with Aperture. Sharpness is always a plus:)
