The black disgrace still runs in spain a year later. Politicians, what a nerve, say the north and west coasts of Spain are clean of crude. The same day I took this image (13th november this year) an oil tanker ran aground in Galicia. The decission the government took to solve the problem was wrong and careless and days later last year the crude reached our coast. The tradegy was huge (most people in Galicia depend on the sea to work and live). Not only a human disaster but ecological too. Thousands of volunteer people from all over the world, I dare say, came to help clean the coast. Yet today they keep on cleaning without the government help. Yet a problem in our west coast that will last many many years cos the crude is at the botton of the sea waiting to come out.
