Oh yes, Naty! I think there is always even a real chance. The tragedy is, that most people just hope... and have the idea, peace must come from outside...and they are waiting that something might happen or someone (else than themselves) might come to bring peace; and as long as this does not happen, they keep longing for it desperately. But no-one will find peace outside, if one doesn't find it in the own heart. There are people who live under the best conditions one can imagine; they have everything they wish... but no peace, and they live a sad life. And there are people who live under poor conditions, and have hearts full of love and live in peace. I know, it sounds too simple..., but I also know, that it's true! Every politics is created in human minds.....nowhere else! Every single one of us human beings has the decision and the responsibility. If every single one of us realized, that peace is already there... in the own heart (actually it's so basic and essential, that we could not even exist or breathe without it!) then the world would change instantly!!! INSTANTLY !!! As long as this won't happen, we have to live with "the big ups and downs of life", which are all self made! But the chance and possibility is always there; and it's real! We just have to put it into practice! And I also know, that this can be very difficult. One has to overcome a lot of various obstacles, which can be very different, but still have the same name: oneself! ... Now: don't think that I'm a preacher !!! ;)) I'm just talking of what I experience... from time to time...;)) But it's enough for me, to have a strong belief and to go on that way...! My best regards :)

Naty, as long as there is love and creativity such as your the prospect of peace will not be lost. this beautiful image is a reminder of the tears shed, the moments forever lost and the hope that is diminished by war. thanks so much. i like this as a monochromatic composition. the water makes them come alive and the B&W makes it timeless like your desire for peace.
