About Río Tinto means "Red River", because of the minerals that color its water; it's a mining region since the Ancient Age, exploited already by the Phoenicians. This picture was taken at the Río Tinto Mining Co. abandoned mine. It's in the Huelva provice, distant around 120 km from Sevilla (Spain).
