wow, that's a pretty cool shot you took :p I really like the way you composed it and the angle - it's different. The colours are awesome and so vibrant. Lovely contrast between the yellow and blue. Good details and clarity as well.
Good work!

Rodger, there are two things that link us--the name (yours spelled with a "d" and mine without) and the name "Flower Power." On another site I have an entire folder under this title. Hardly anything up to usefilm standards and certainly nothing up to the standard of this one, which I discovered when I traced your portfolio from your kind comment on my "Persimmon Orchard" shot. This is an amazing macro and completely original. As a rangefinder user, the world of macros is closed to me. But I see so many beautiful macro shots on usefilm that I'm beginning to feel deprived. Guess I should look out my well brassed OM4! If you want to check out the other "Flower Power," it's at www.pgallery.net/rogerama. Click on a small image to see a much larger one. You'll find my E-mail address there too, if you want to get in touch.

This is a beautiful shot. Where did the rest of the flower go? I like that it is missing.
