Very dramatic picture. Could use a little more detail in the mountian behind the tree. Don.

Ray, I performed a histogram check and adjusted the levels. You are correct; thanks for a critique that helped me improve my use of PS!

3D Photo. Very good. I also think it too dark. you can increase the levels but the 0 blacks will remain without information

I love the angle this was taken at. Dark and moody-just how I like 'em! I like the movement of the clouds as well. (I'm glad you have such luck with your Sony camera-I have a digital Sony, and am ready to back over it with my truck. lol.)

GORGEOUS!

Bob,
this has excellent composition and mood, I think it could benefit if the hi-lites and mid-tones were a little lighter. I checked the histogram in PS and almost all of the pixels are located above the 50% K mark. I tried a levels adjustment, bringing up the hi-lights and mid-tones, leaving the shadows where they were. results below.
Good Work!!

Did you try taking the tones up a little in levels? I think it could be so much better. Just too dark. Composition is great. Just needs more light.
