I agree that this is not as good as the tilted ones. However, that could also be partly due to the fact that it's a different view - the other side, isn't it? The people here aren't so close to the viewer, and there's more of them, so they cease to be an important part of the scene, making it more of an abstract/architecture photo. What is this place, by the way?
Interesting architectural night shot, however it appears to be somewhat soft. I wonder if you chose to focus on any details of that building - as it is there is perhaps too much in the scene and a more focused 'abstract' would be perhaps more interesting.
