cute monkey, you know how to make the fence not show up in your pictures I am not sure exactly what you are suppose to do but there is a way because i have taken some pictures of the lion at the zoo and you see no fence. Check into that. But i love the picture. I like animal pictures
Absolutely perfect. I have a certain philosophy when it comes to photos of captive animals...and this image sums it up perfectly. You include the fence (whether intentionally, because he is so close to it, or not...that does not matter for the moment I'm having here...:) just as sharply and focussed as you do his dreary eyes...and his fingers gripping the chain link in the corner...that is one of the best poses he could have given you for you to demonstrate his situation at the zoo. While zoos, for the most part, are not the torture places that they used to be, they are still not optimal when compared to a natural, free habitat...is the safety that the chainlink fence offers worth the deprived life this little guy will live...? Or is there a better way to change the attitude of humans to allow and encourage animals to live in their own habitats without being disrupted....? This photo brings up many questions like these for me...in that way, it is the best remedy to the false views that people have of zoos...THE ANIMALS ARE BETTER OFF IN ZOOS....are they really? Nice shot, Eric... :)
