Bella inquadratura e complimenti per l'idea: manca un po' di dettaglio in alcuni punti, dove sembra sovraesposta. Il bianco e nero fa risaltare molto la texture delle squame. Avrei aggiunto un po' di sharpness.
Nice crop and cute composition, congratulations: little lack of detail in some areas, maybe where overexposed. B&W enhances fish's textures. Why not adding a little more contrast or sharpness?

yes the symmetry here is the focal point and it is a good composition for this, may be the shot should be more clear; one of these days I have to choose this fascinating subject too for one of my shots...
