Hi Karen, I've just downloaded PS trial for 30 days. I'm wondering which tool you used to get this effect. Can you e-mail me for this if it becomes too detailed?

I like this one better, the other photo seemd to have too much of (yellow?) colour cast to it. This one I like tho.

This is nice too, the colors are delicate, the light and the focus are good, maybe it needs more space on the right; this is a more natural situation with children, the other one is more original, but they are both beautiful photos. Bye Max

Oh so sweet! I love children photos like this, with lots of child hood mood! Really wonderful capture and very nice and creative toning that I think is lovely. Perhaps a little bit more space on right side would have been great, but it works well like this too I think. I haven't seen your other one so I can't chose which I like most.

Funny Chris - you always have a way of making me laugh. Thanks for the tip
Richard - unfortunately no crop on the right here. It was one of those moments I wasnt expecting and quickly tried to catch.
Thank you to everyone for all the lovely comments. You guys are great for my confidence and I appreciate all advice and critiques.

Touching image, Karen. Nicely toned and charming title. I take Richard's point about the crop but don't feel that it does the picture too much 'arm! (Ouch! Sorry about that!!) Regarding the church pic ? all I did to bring out the texture was to warm up the saturation a notch and then overlay the original image with a duplicate that I applied a subtle paint effect to. (Bad English, sorry!) Kind regards, Chris.

Karen; I haven't looked at the other yet, but this one is great. The overalls toning is done very well-- looks natural, and the photo composition and subject is precious. I would have no idea on how to imrove on this.

I much prefer the other one Karen, the arm is too near the edge of the frame, if you have cropped this, I would suggest leaving more space on the right - Richard.
