This is a great subject with a lot of potential. The problem with the technical issues (like overexposure) is that it's hard not to look at the great subject matter and not notice. It's always a shame when a good picture isn't a great picture because of some tech issue. I like this shot though.

They all can't be perfect. There is a lot of potential for this image. Even with the overexposure, you have a beautiful and serene image here.

Last boat ride of the day.. evening shadows fall .. the gorge is filling up with shadows ...however..coming around that last bend in the river... where the sun is still shining... from dark to light.. into the light...

I really like the composition but it seems overexposed somewhat unless it was intentional. Played around with it in Photoshop.

Washed out or not, I'll assume it's an intentional presentation. It gives it a nice atmospheric perspective and of hovering towards the opening.

excellent composition/...but over exposure gives a
washed out and blurry appearance. Stop down and color
saturation wpuld help.
