Molto bene! I might have tried a couple positioned with the sun at my back, vs. with the sun at my shoulder. Nice capture of motion!

Amy,
I like this one but I think the real shot is from the merry-go-round it's self. Time to get on it and take the shot. If that doesn't work thentry being lower to the ground and shot up. Make it look the girl is running right at you.

amy, congrats on a great shot. you really clicked the shutter at the perfect moment. great colors captured too, esp. the merry go round. my only beef w/ the shot is that its a bit grainy and could be sharper. maybe just the scan? a great image nonetheless.
