You are a master of color and texture, that is clear. i like the treatment you have given the last two submissions. You elevate a macro of graffiti to pure abstraction as wonderful as any painting. AND you manage to give depth where it would be completely lacking. i like your subtle grasp of composition, specifically the location of the square in the exact center of the photo, regardless of what details actually lie within that frame. This is exciting to me and it causes me to look outside the square, into the shadows to find the rest of the image, to explore it and then to hop back into the square, enjoying the gush of bright color and shape even more. There are some dark areas in this image, Painterly Graffiti, and Folded Flower that i'm not sure i am comfortable with. i need some time to think about that. It is obviously deliberate but they somehow feel awkward to me. This is not a criticisum, just something i need to spend some time with. Best regards: kat~
this is one of your best. I love these colors together and the brightness is just right. Having them show through the border is a good additional touch. well done. Gil
