Sunny cloudless winter day, clean and low light, perfect time to try my first Velvia roll.
You have to be almost inside the scene to defocus the background with such a wideangle, but with this lens it's nice when it happens. Backlight scene. Colors are fantastic, as is both highlights and dark areas. NO polarizer. Colors were NOT saturated on PS. Velvia rules!
Nikon F3, Nikkor 20/2.8 AF, Velvia (50), Manfrotto monopod. Shot at 1/30, 5.6. Scanned on my Nikon Coolscan III with Vuescan. Velvia scans easily, with very little adjustments. Nice.
