or maybe 9ths....... 27'ths? 54 or 108'ths.... I don't remember!!!!!! What is that rule? The one about being 1/3 and such?????? I don't recall........ anyway, this shot had so many lines and sections I guess it could fall into any of the previously typed styles.....
I like to think/believe my images have layers. There is what we see and what we know and what we understand… and they are not always on the same plane. I make NO pretense to being a good photographer… honestly…. I shoot what I like and post what makes me go, “Hmmmmm.” Also, I do so try to mix things up. I take and share a very broad array of images: Nature, macros, sports, irony, family…. I cannot place myself into any category. I never have and never will look for acceptance in my photos. I post what I like and the world be hanged. Thanks for mentioning the simple uniqueness of my work. That means more to me than the “award” photos on this site that I delete as soon as they are recognized. jil
Isn't this the 22/7 rule? A really arresting shot. I looked at it for quite a while before I noticed that it was yours. You always post the most interesting pictures.
