Harry, I think; simple question, simple asking, simple thought or simple...bla bla bla; sometime it might b a key for absolute answer, and my simple question broght me an absolute answer toward yr picture moreover it brought me to see yr intuitive side plus it mirrors me to realize in what other people thinking about me througout all Thai people. Yes, we love peace, yr word "understanding" matches perfectly to today's Thailand, concerning a political situation bringing about an unconformity to Thai nation.

This is a small art project, to make visible human behaviour. 100% non abstract. It is like real life.
1-When people do not understand the language of the other, they leave without asking what the others means. Of the 19 viewers, you are the only one that asked what it means.
If people would act like you, there would be a lot more understanding between humans, of all cultures, religions, and nations, whatever. And less violence and wars.
2-Nobody responded with an opinion about the image itself. It seems like humans have to know the meaning or reason before they can enjoy it. My teacher in this aspect is anne knes. I respect her wisdom she shared with me ( i am just a beginner ). Just enjoy life, art, food without wanting to know why.
3-The text is in arabic and i have turned it upside down and flipped it horizontal. The text means "mourning", like being sad when somebody died. I wanted to illustrate how we humans all look alike but are not able to understand each others motives of emotions or behaviour. We people are essentially separated from each other like electrons in an atom.
Panyakit, I have been to Thailand and enjoyed the peaceful people. It is the only country I know where a coup or military or political take-over will be without violence or death or shooting.
The fact the question came from you, a Thai, proves Thai people are very peaceful and looking for understanding.
