About I was walking at Woodly Island Marina in Humboldt Bay when I came across this Sea Lion sunning on one of the docks. He was just fine until I aproached to about 40 feet. He then assumed a threatening posture and barked at me as if saying that's close enough. The only camera I had with me was my Nikon Coolpix S1 so I used it to get as close as possible.
