About Kurt's last stop was in the room in the center of the photo - the "room over the garage". Bringing a shotgun, blood stream full of Heroin, and a head full of depression with ya cause this was gonna be how this young super talent was gonna check out. Cobain was a major talent - those are usually the ones that don't handle things too well, Jim Morrison, Hendrix, Joplin... Listen to MTV Unplugged recorded a few months earlier, amazing, classic stuff full of major emotions..... We miss you Kurt, should have stuck around and given us a bit more of your talent my man, not many have even a hundreth of what you had...... (to the best of my knowledge the home is no longer there. It is my understanding the new owners bulldozed it and built something new... stupid move IMHO)

Good shot. The "about" makes the image, proving once again that a picture is not, in fact, worth a thousand words, excepting if it has a caption :-]

For the record: Not a Nirvana fan, but sorry to see a young life ended that way. Also, too bad about the house. It's unlikely that what is there now is anything like as interesting. If it's like Vancouver, they built a large pink stucco monstrosity in its place.
