Hm, never heard of Mr. Cook... but then, you know I am not a student of photography... I just muddle along and do what I want. I may have done Cook one better. A few years ago I did a series of shots of my camera on timer/long exposure thingy and I whipped the camera 'round and about my head while holding onto the very end of the camera strap. I'll see if I can find those...

Well mate.. I have gotta say.. LL was looking at this and she said that must be an uncomfortable swing to sit on.. thinking she was looking at the front of the thing… OMFG I really don’t know what else to say other than why not just take up luxography supposedly invented by James Cook (UFr) in which you simply rotate the camera whilst making the longish exposure.. lovely results

Funny panning experiment. The green background stripes contrast nicely with the blue knot in focus.
