thanks for the input Paul, meal was quite good, love japanesse cuisine; talking about composition, I disgree this time Paul, prefer a subtle asymmetry that a perfect symmetry; the extra black space adds tension (whichever it means :)

I think separating the second and third lamps would be an improvement, but that said I understand that sometimes these things are not possible. I love the composition as a whole, and the black areas between the lamps makes for a very intimate and atmospheric image. As Harry says, it is the photographer and not the equipment, even though the GX100 looks to be a cracking compact. I hope the meal was good.

thanks to be honest Gary (in case you were talking about food), British is not the best cuisine around the world, actually I've never seen a British restaurant outside the islands :)

A Japanese restaurant on Easter island? I thought I'd seen it all. You were lucky it wasn't a British restaurant, anywhere! Good image though, nicely muted in mono.
