About For those that don't know the trick.... the fence this was shot through magically disappeared! Set your f-stop for very minimal depth of field and the fence usually disappears. If it doesn't, focus your camera on the subject and then step back a little from the fence it until it does.

This is actually a snow leopard, not a tiger. Snow leopards live throughout the mountains of Central Asia in Afghanistan, Bhutan, China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and
Uzbekistan. There and estimated 3,500-7,000 snow leopards left in the wild. No one has an exact count because snow leopards are so elusive and inhabit such harsh and remote habitat that they are rarely seen. There are about 600 of these cats in zoos around the world. They are considered to be endangered or threatened with extinction.
