About This was a fish that the heron decided to eat that day. I think he was a little tired. Normally he grabs the fish, but today I guess it tried stabbing. Comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.

Two great captures in one Michael. You have caught the heron at just the right moment following it's own catch of the day. Well done to you. Excellent details and beautifully composed. Well done to you my friend. My very best wishes as always....Ray

Wonderful concentration here, Michael. I've watched these guys fishing, and they're pretty quick. Wonderful image.

That is an amazing shot, Michael! It is facinating to read your about and see this frozen moment of action! Something which would be very difficult to see with the human eye. What skill those birds have... seems to me it may be a bit more difficult to catch a fast fish under water with that long beak than it would be to eat soup with chop sticks! lol Photographing such a moment such as this and have it turn out so good, technically, must also require a lot of skill! Congratulations! 7/7

Best wishes,
Brigitte
