Antes que nada un gusto leerte nuevamente y saber que estas bien!.
A esta foto la he alterado mucho, es la primera de la serie "pictorical mood", donde comencé a usar el recurso que aplico con más intensidad en los trabajos posteriores como "sorrow" o "blonde". Pero si te fijas yo incluí dos versiones más de este trabajo, la segunda es la imagen original con solo un recorte.

It comes quite "radioactive" to my perception but still preserving much of the essence of a good portrait, Gustavo! It is standing still but it also vibrates in a somewhat "dramatic" way. The details of the face expression are not easily understandable, not directly perceivable, but the general "mood" seems to remain intact.
There is s special kinf of metallicity on the surface of the sculpture which does contribute very strongly to the overall look and feel. Did you somehow work on that or is this the original shot?

A mí al principio me gustaba la foto en color, no entendía esto del B&W, pero con el tiempo encuentro que para ciertas cosas el B&W tiene más fuerza (Amén que mucho del arte fotográfico ha sido concebido en blanco y negro por cuestiones circunstanciales de desarrollo de la tecnología fotográfica), sin embargo, como en todo esto, es solo una cuestión de gustos...

Estan todas muy buenas ...foto muy curiosa y delicada...personalmente me gusta mas la de bronce en su color....soy mas aficionado al color que al Blanco y negro...pero te quedaron muy buenas...

Pero sí Txules, la verdad nos fue muy bien. Mirá, yo suelo ser pretencioso con mi desempeño, pero también trato de ser objetivo con mis posibilidades.
En mi vida diaria soy un profesional de la ingeniería, formado en las ciencias duras, trabajo mucho, participo de múltiples actividades, atiendo a mi familia e hijos.
Entre tantas cosas tengo la "afición" de la fotografía.
Muy diferente es si vos sos un artista profesional, con años de estudios formales, con horas y horas de dedicación, con escenografía, modelos...etc...etc...
Jugar codo a codo con artistas profesionales, y haber cualificado, está bárbaro!...;-)
Un gran abrazo querido amigo y ya te dije, te quiero desafiar a un partido de tennis...!

Dark and menacing like an actor in a dramatic and powerful Shakespearian production, Othello perhaps. Your postwork is exciting and the grain works for me. Excellent tones and good lighting effects. Acepto tu sugerencia, pero yo deliberadamente le aplique esos efectos, no quería la nitidez de la imagen real... yo no los considero destructivos, la imagen no se destruye, se transforma...:-)

excuse me Gustavo,I think those effects that you have done to the face and forehead have ruined the shot,there is also the same effect on the leaves on the chest but to a lesser degree and they are of little destructive effect,so I have compared the effect on the face with that of the chest,that of the chest cames of high quality in contrast to the face,I have cut the effect in the face that I think it is destructive,just telling you that as a friendly suggestion,I hope you don't mined,my regards,
