Yes, the original is very nice also, but I do think your "effect" certainly enhanced it artistically, so it was a nice choice on your part. Thank you for explaining it.

Hey Brigitte! Thanks for looking. The original I will post also, but Orton effect is a part of an HDR program. These were two swans but I cloned a duck out of it and revised.

I think it looks very nice, and I am sure the original looked nice also. I have never heard of an Orton effect. What software are you using and does it simply "mirror" an image (or make a duplicate of it)? The patterns and colors in the water are fantastic!! Looks almost like an oil panting!
