About	Bishop Hill, Illinois was founded in the 1840's. They exsist on tourist dollars. There are 150 permanent residents. If you ever get there... the place is a wonderland. If you love history... there are few areas within a drive of Loy-Wood that are better. Still, since they exsist at the whim of visitors... not every building is attended too. Some just hold on, get by, even if it is the City Hall and a national historic site. Then again, I once heard, "No one ever looks up." So maybe a whole lot of people did not see what I saw.
