I see you are continuing with your breaking the rules photography. As I saw in your last reply it will look great in both cases. The best feature of this image is the expression on the boy's face. So whether you crop the head or not it has been captured.

Thank you Gary.As you say the crop does put more focus on the face and if you remember my Award winning shot of the tired Shepherd carrying the lamb back to the farm you will remember I used the same cropping technique....which I still can't decide is best for that shot or not...!Some days I like it and some days not!Anyway, both versions look great on HP satin-matte!

I can understand why Gustavo has doubts about the tight crop (if the translation's right)but I think it stops the eye from wandering around the frame and allows concentration on the face. The detail is superb and the dof is perfect for this kind of image. Regards, Gary
