You are right Paul. I worked in Clinica Metropolitana in Caracas in 1987 , 3 months. I have seen the local beach ( lousy ) but the girls in Caracas were so lovely, we never came to the stage she cooked a meal for me, we had other things to do.
Re solving the problems, you are welcome :-)

Dear Ania, this street capture was made in November 2006, but I visited Venezuela a few more times. I travelled by bus, taxi, line planes but also with very small aircrafts. Heart-warming people and beautiful scenery at many places. Regretfully I can only show a fraction of all this on UF. Take care, Paul

Hullo Stan, thanks a lot for appreciation. The angels were with me, making the moment and making the bus ride. And I also express my sincere gratitude to them, as I enjoyed and ... survived. have a very nice day, Paul

Thank you very much dear Julie, I visited Venezuela a few times last two years and would like to go there once more this year. Heart warming population and beautiful places to visit. But If you go with me, I'll drive the bus instead and go for low speed. That all would be safe enough OK? many hugs from Paul

Hi Nicki, thank you very much for all those compliments, but it were the bus and the girls who made the shot for 80%. It was me for 10%. And the remaining % ? Luck, hazard, angels ? Who tells. Je t'embrasse, Paul

Hi Wolf Harry, you may think what you believe, but I only wrote "on the way" to paradise. It could be a sunny beach, it could be something else but "these type of paradises" are always apparent or just compromises. examples: The sunny beach could be polluted, or the lovely girl never learned to cook you a descend meal ;)
P.S. I think the UF, rating system and email forwarding is back in the air, as yesterday it caused a lot of trouble. You also recently changed nationality from Dutch to UF :-) so thanks for having solved the problem :-) Groeten, Paul

To all dear friends,
Today the UF server does not work properly. The whole rating system seems completely off as however views and comments get through with error messages. Text editing is also out of order as many members today have sent their messages twice or three times. Let's see if IT people get it solved in some hours. It's easy getting a tower of Babel (and noisy pictures :-) in such a way such better to suspend communication for a while.
Have a nice morning, evening or night wherever you are, Paul

Dear Teresa, thank you for your comment. I would ask you to accept my apologizes if I wrote something badly. The opposite is true, it was meant as nice. I adore your puddle captures. I understand that you do not have the intention to write anything bad or offending calling me Flying Dutchman in the positive sense. I'm so sorry but I understand most of Italian, Spanish or Portuguese in reading having travelled so much, but I mix it up if writing.

Hi Teresa, thank you. Indeed I am not a ship, but you could identify me as a Flying Dutchman, at least here on UF. Life is such full of opportunities and all what is, is what we observe and know, know to exploit. You noticed the puddle and you saw the sparrow and I enjoyed to observe the impact of its propagating waves. Many hugs my dear Teresa.

Hi Bilja, thank you for your compliments and all more dedication to me. The Parc indeed was magnificent as the bus ride back to Caracas was. That day I took the last bus back from Choroni to Maracay with dazzling speed through the dark over a dangerous mountain road. But the most dangerous was probably arriving at Bus Station Lavandera in Caracas at midnight as being kidnapped or worse was more likely to happen than finding a descend taxi back to my hotel. My main interest in everything from People to Nature is ... surviving :-) Hugs from Paul
