Hi Mike, you did very well to get so close to this guy with the 60mm lense. the colour is beautiful and I also like your composition. I do think the light areas is slightly overexposed (1 fstop)and that the DoF is a bit shallow. With the sunlight that seems to be full, I would have opted for a slower speed and a smaller aperture to get more of the insect sharply in focus. Persevere - macro's are not so easy as it often seems - It needs a lot of experimentation and much patience, but its more than worth it! Kind regards.
