Thanks so much Robert for your great critique.
It was way too dark for f8 this cloudy day especially without a tripod. My D70 usually focuses good with the IR filter attached. But sometimes I have to switch to MF like you do. I never compose, I just aim and try my luck! hehe. Next time I wont leave the tripod behind.
Thanks again and Im glad you like my colors and Ir shots.
Best wishes,
Ziad

Thanks dear Shirley. I was trying to keep the camera as still as I could on a ledge. But I guess it wasnt still as I hoped it would be. :)

It would be nice to see more of the trees so you can appreciate the Ir effect more,Very nice colors,my type of colors!!
The focus point seems off, could be that your f-stop is too shallow or your focusing point is too far in.
I uses a D70 too, with this type of image I focuses close then switch to manual mode, recompose and shoot at f8 or smaller to take care of focusing problems with IR.
Very nice Ir portfolio Ziad,I love your color tones.
Take care
Robbie

Nice view, great colors Ziad!
I like the saturation and the way it gives these colors...especialy on the trees, perchaps that shot can be in a portrait shape of frame just to have the top of the trees here and not soooo much sea... just an opinion and surely not a critique that one... it's very nice!
