Hello my dear John...This image with the focus on the plants, and tones of this image do seem to add to the sadness of the broken down train...Your mission is accomplished :)) excellent image my dear...I enjoy to view this image even if it is sad -- Happy Holidays dear friend ! Hug, Michele~

That shot taken near to the city of Parta, at Peloponissos, (middle west Greece) and believe me, I could not find it myself, I take some photos of them thanks to a friend of mine that is a taxi driver and believe me, even he cannot found these easily...

another nice shot.. its a pity we didnt link up when we (my wife and I) were there in October this year.. but I will tell you one thing.. there is a restaurant right near the old fort on the corner of the road that goes round the harbour and one of the main ones leading up to the square.. the best meal of our entire holiday I had there,, here's a bit of my diary from the day.. and boy am I ever getting the hang of hand holding with all this slow shutter speed work! Couple of lovely shots of those great big rocks that they used to drop on the heads of their enemies lit by an overhead lighting tunnel very clever stuff. After that we visit another place recommended to us by Manos the museum which naturally enough has a fairly detailed section on the ancient history of Crete but in which I am interested in seeing the section on the big one WWII which we get to another very sensitive and intelligent interpretation small dignified and with one room with a display of faces continually changing, nameless and silent and immediately below a glass case with a whole lot of dirt in it and various objects retrieved from a mass grave that the Germans had filled with innocents, snatches of clothing, a bit of a watch that sort of thing, simple, powerful, potent and succinct. Dad’s angry words (spat at me years before) came back sharply (as he rebuked me about pacifism) “The German’s were wrong and we were right and that is that” We then strolled down to the port again near the old Venetian fort and began looking for somewhere for dinner we wandered the streets saw a place full of what looked like the Greek Mafia and strolled past up the road past lots of other places and then I said what about that fish restaurant on the corner Lorraine said yeah it was full of locals so that should be good so we retraced our steps and took a seat. What followed was one of those memorable meals of the trip and you know now I cant even think what I had but it was terrific I know I had a beer probl’y something to do with shrimps as they call them but it was truly terrific sitting there as the sun sank over the port and blending a bit until most of the locals had been replaced by tourists and so yeah another day closed on a high.

The whole image is very dramatic and sad, the tilt conveys emotion, this image resembles the first look of this horrible reality, unsteady focused and sad ..your shot dear John tells a story.. Warm regards my friend, parehan

You made here a very good moody photo, the tone too helps you to do this. Very fine work. I only have one point of critique: the white corner above at the left. There you could clone something like a little sky from above the train?
