This Blue Heron sat in the same position all the while I was photographing in the area (about one hour). He was atop an old Cypress tree.

Thank you, Gene, I appreciate your comment. Yes, I am well satisfied with the Tamron 200-500...... I use all Tamron lenses. This particular shot was hand held. I was able to do so as the lens is not heavier than my car.
