About A male Garden Cross spider nervously approaching a female with intentions of mating. The actual "mating" is lightening quick and I was unable to capture it even though repeated about 10 times over a 15 minute period.
I used flash and 1/60th and slow sync to capture the vibration of the male spider's front legs as he semaphored his amorous approach in the hope of not getting eaten. I am happy to report that he survived to live another day.
