About Alma Flour was made right here in Okanogan. Sorry about the photo the glare from the light kind of ruin it. Alma was the first name of Okanogan (we still have Alma Park), then the name changed to Pouge after a doctor but he figured that no one could pronounce it so the town ended up with the name of Okanogan (which means rendezvous in Salish Indian).
