About A Tomato Caterpillar. Having destroyed my neighbour's garden, this little (4" long!) fellow was heading across the road to my house. Alas, he met with a fatal concrete block accident along the way, but not before I got this photograph.

This is very much like the one I posted but slightly different. I have seen the tomato horn worm which looks also a little like these but slightly different. Mine was in a park and no tomatoes around to attack so I allowed him to escape into the grass. I do wonder what sort of butterfly it will produce. Like yours, mine was as big as my index finger. Del.
