Out of the series (so far) I think this is the one that is behind the others. 3 and 5 I find to be particularly strong this less so.
The B&W conversion is good and in keeping with the other 5. They all seem to have a similar tonal range and contrast range, so look like a series. This is good.
However the composition of this one is not of the same quality. Your angle of view has placed the horizon almost central and vertical lamposts and 'watch tower' collide on each other. It also includes the black plastic bin. A few steps to the right in my opinion would lead to a good composition, the verticals would be separated and the bin excluded. Also, the metal work in the seat would become another focal point.
I hope you do not mind this critique, but you did ask for an honest opinion, and this is mine.
All this said, the area does make for a good series and whether intententional or not, the weather conditions are perfect for capturing the mood and drama of the place.
