Not sure what Aydin means by "why don't you pick up vivid colors of nature" because the colours in this photo are lovely. Maybe we are too used to the oversaturated PS enhanced colours that are doing the rounds. Either way your photo portrays nature very well, the colours are real and natural, as seen by the eye. And frankly the yellow field is pretty damned vivid enough :) This is easily your most subtle photo yet Meg, a very good shot. Composition is lovely, the inclusion of the telephone pole and tree top on the left are actually very good. The nice line of white flowers starting at the bottom and leading up works well. My only problem with those flowers is that in the dim light they are not as white as one would expect. Some fill flash (from a strong flash unit) would probably have helped. A lovely scene all in all, very well done.

Well seen Megan, the yellow contrasts well with the moody sky, the telegraph pole is perfectly positioned

Very nice Megan, Great colors and very nice composition. The pole really adds to the composition. You are so kind and also a great student. Now just add the drop shadow to this and you will have a totally complete picture and have passed all your tests. Again a great picture and looking forward to more from you. Don.

Very nice framing indeed :) I wonder why don't you pick up vivid colors of nature. Surely it was a cloudy day, but carl zeiss lenses are really good at capturing morning flash shots. If you try on low-flash mode of your camera (I believe you have it) on such shuts maybe more "vividity" appear :)
Still, this is an amazing work. Congrats ! :)
Kind regards; Onur Aydin
