Hi Sam, First off thanks so much for your kind words about my portfolio, and also for adding me to your friends list. I have to say your playing around with this image really payed off nicely. I too have some shots of Antelope Canyon as well as MV in my gallery but never thought of combining to two like this. Very cool, thanks again, Bill PS. I'll be spending some more time in your gallery so look for more comments.

The result is grand. It feels lie being inside some sort of mysterious dream that has some kind of quest. The quest feeling provides a sense of motion. This is most definately a non-static piece; one must keep moving thoughout it. There is a feeling of depth and a sense of going on forever provided by the rock outcrops. It reminds me of one of those 3D images that one stares at and sees something pop out. Although there are obstacles to overcome in this quest, somehow there is a lot of positive encouragement also. The overall feeling is one of safety and inevitable (though far off) success. I LOVE what you have done with this. MAry

Hey S3...after numerous diversions, finally got back here to comment. All I can say is brilliant my friend, in thought and ps work! It works as is, no improvements. I feel bad for those who cannot view in pano format, it is simply breathtaking...color, depth, texture...this has it all. And, just a hunch, a money maker to boot Sam! 7+ and a fav.
Take care...Robin

Thanks for Making me smaile my friend. I really appreciate your comments. Yes this layered on overlay, then with a 200 pixel Very soft brush, I put a layer mask on it and used the paint brush tool to remove the unwanted parts of the shot.
Regards

Exquisite work Sam!! Absolutely breathtaking. You layered on overlay? I like the way the image seems to take on the texture of the underlying one. Beautiful color and extremely creative work!

Sam III,
You know that I'm very ignorant when it comes to PS, so this is a very uneducated opinion on my part... Are you ready?
It seems as if this work was done by a man with a very deranged mind that sees things, which nobody else can see. He thinks that no one understands him or his work, but he stays the course no matter what. Opinions from lesser people in his mind mean nothing too him, but rejection from anyone still upsets him, as well...
In my very limited knowledge of "Art" I would pay good money to have this image on my wall just to stare at it for hours on end, because my mind is just like his...
Well done my Brother and please send me the full file size, so I can enjoy this capture each and every day... ;)
My Best to You and Yours,
Marty

I really, really, really like this one, but I am not sure why. Could be the abstract flavor to it - and I am NOT an abstract-type person - but I do love the flowing lines in this and for what ever reason the hard lines in the Mittons are really enhanced by the strata in the Slot Canyon formation. Your colors are super, and the whole composition and presentation show outstanding creativity. Really would like a large print of this one!
