About	Filoli gardens are huge and it takes many hours to see them all. This was in a garden near the mansion terrace. There were several flower boxes about ten feet long and I have no idea what horticultural story can be told by this particular box. It caught my eye and I wonder what it takes to maintain them.

Onie -- Thanks so much for explaining what this is. I can barely distinguish colors let alone flowers, bushes and arrangements. I will look up the Lover's Knot idea and learn more. Seems like I have seen this design in jewelry.

Think maybe this is a *Lover's Knot* garden Jan... They have symbolic meaning, some in flowering plants others with box etc... Always wonderful the way they twine together...:)))
