I think this is a good photo. You've captured a classic winter image that is original at the same time. I find it interesting how the sun shining off the snow in the field creates a backlit situation with the large snowbank on the right, but provides front lighting for the trees in the distance. Of course the blowing snow as a diffuser is 'cool' too, as pointed-out by Davide.

Hi Cathy It's not very cold in this shot. About minus 10 celcius, that's about 14 F.
If you want to see cold, check out my "Pastel Morning" That's about minus 45F
How cold does it get where you are?
Thanks for commenting

Ringraziamenti per il commento Davide. E interessante come il cambiamento minimo nella luce puo cambiare una fotografia.

Thanks for the comment Patrick. It was a contrasty sort of scene. The sun was low in the horizon and this storm just blew up out of no where

Icey cold. I am shivering here in my heated loungeroom. What temperature would be represented in this image? I imagine it is colder than anything I have experiencded in Aus.CC

Nice strom, nice pic. I do like the way the snow powder spread the light. Davide.

Beautiful... I love this... particularly the contrast between the foreground and that fenced enclosure...
