Excellent...amazing portrait, original and a stunning presentation as the lighting makes the mask looks like a....half moon!!! Perfect color too and how that viewed into the darkness of the background.

Good news Ian. The statues were going to be removed due to health & safety concerns but after pressure from the public the local council have changed they're mind and so now they are staying. They're worth a look. I'm told they're especially eerie in fog.

Thanks Gary, for your positive comments, much appreciated. I noticed that you've taken a good shot of the Statues on Crosby Beach. I would love to be there at different times of the day and season to get various mood shots on them. But allas, I hear that the installation is due to be removed soon, is this true?
