You do not know what you are offering...
I write better than I shoot... I talk better than I write...
When I leave OZ all the wonderful ladies will be in tow...
What will ya do when the LL follows me to the Colonies????????

Just looked at your bio pic again. Ya know... if ya crop it a tad, the background would say "be... BE" and actually retain balance. Just a thought.

Often we over-think and do not trust to our instinct. Some of the best images I have ever had the pleasure to snap are the result of just letting go. Setting the camera a tad and snapping away. Yes, I do bracket most images so I can cull the best from the worst. By "bracket" I mean I use several different settings for the same shot. Then I have a variety to look at. And I learn from my mistakes. The best thing I can say to you, and Roj (I am positive) will back me 100% on this... Learn your camera. If you know what the camera can do in all ranges, then you can compenstate for the camera's weakness and still get a great image. It is not just your eye, the equipment has limitations. Knowing these and using that great brain you have... you can outsmart the equipment... and still get what you "see." Jim

You are closer to the truth than I will ever admit in public. If I ever make it to OZ, can I speak at one of your classes?

Well, here is what I do... but don't take this as anything important... I stumble across more pics than I think out. Set your camera on the manual setting thingy. Open it up to 4.0 or more. Set the shutter to 30 sec bulb release. Point it in the general direction of the storm...
... and wait for a lucky moment.
That's it. Long exposure and dumb luck.
