Beautiful shot Geoff... I was going to ask how do you know it's the face ...but then I figured that out :)) The Light, exposure... is ' Perfect' - right on the subject.... like a stage light on the 'STAR' .... I've never seen a dragonfly face to face like this... so I wonder why the white dot on the right side.. but then I wonder about the rest of what would be the face too.... mostly I appreciate the delicate wings, and the clarity, and the texture , contrast, and dof.... I think you did an excellent shot my friend 7/7
