About	this is my first attempt using slide film (with encouragment from a fellow shutterbug). this is a picture of boat quay, singapore at last-light. The old 19th century riverside godowns and traditional asian style warehouse converted into pubs and restaurants producing an albeit stark contrast against modernity on the opposite riverside.

Steve, welcome to the world of slides! They would make you feel like magic if they are correctly exposed. Your first attempt seems reasonable although there seems to be a light magenta tint across the whole frame. This normally indicate that weak chemicals were used in the lab to develop the roll.

This is a nice night shot, good composition, but it doesnt appear sharp enough to me. Also I would consider cropping that part of a building all the way at the right.
