Mono Lake. The feeling of solitude is what this shot reminds me of. I did not get there at the magic hour but the clouds and tufa were quite striking. There were also miriads of insects all over and the seagulls in the foreground were just having a feast. This was originally done in color, I used the channel mixer in PS to convert to BW using mostly the red channel.
Beautiful tones here... and very nice work Otto... I expect the slide is way better in the qautilty, since you are using 645!... my tiny comment here, is it is there are so many things going here in the composition... I believe if you found a simpler (or having less) elements, carrying also the same variety of the tonal range you mastered to have here, it would look (again IMO) much stronger... great work though
