Untimely death????? If it happens… then it was meant to be. So actually, it was dead on (pun intended) punctual. And funny thing is… the canal is really only 3 or 4 feet deep. One good, solid meter. So after they jumped, they would stand up in the muck and goo to be roundly taunted and humiliated by those on the banks fishing. Naw…. Canal leaping is not the way to check out… just adds to further pain.
